Kate Emery got her start in the art department of the Hunger Games trilogy, where her love of narrative-driven visuals was born. She continues to work as an illustrator in the film industry, where she puts her painting, drafting, and 3D modeling skills to use. She has contributed illustrations and graphics to The Accountant, Hap and Leonard, Lodge 49, and Captive State. She is also a freelance painter in Atlanta. She frequently designs and fabricates work for Mellow Mushroom pizza restaurants.

She enjoys painting with acrylic on canvas and creating multimedia pieces with a wealth of texture that create a feast for the eyes. Her paintings are a celebration of the beauty of nature, and the intrinsic human connection to it.
